Orchard Downs Community Center

Project Details

The project brief was proposed for the BLA Community and Open Space Studio. This project focuses on creating a space dedicated to community engagement for the surrounding neighborhood of Orchard Downs and the larger Urbana population. The design integrates multi-use gathering areas with year-round programming in diverse green spaces. After meeting with residents of the adjacent neighborhood, we were tasked with fulfilling local sociocultural needs while integrating our own findings from independent site analysis.
